I was checking the implementation of Ext on the list of pages "using Ext"... and I can't find any calling to Ext. How can we be sure that all those pages are really using Ext? (Are they? :P )

Ext is commonly used in "intranet" type applications. Perhaps you can ask those companies for a login to their internal sites? ;)
Have a look at the blog for some discussions on companies using Ext, the "spotlight" articles.

Most of the work I do using ExtJS is intranet-specific, but I am currently writing a public site for world changers, but I don't have a link to the prod site, just the dev one. :P

Most projects that I've worked on, devs don't have access to prod. :P

Some of our customers require forms in triplicate, signed by several department heads, before they'll even let you apply a simple patch to a html template. And no, we don't have a public version either. I've tried in the past to get them to put a demo dossier online, but it was deemed too much work, without much benefit. Our customers are the type that get demo's in person from a salesman.

I have two projects for which I am using Ext JS and both are internal apps. Ext JS is a natural for internal app, but a big step for simple web site work, unless you stick to the core, I guess... but who could resist using all of the goodies ;)

My old job had EXT-JS for intranet and dealt with hurricane trackers in real time. ;)
Of course I can't say with who or the details of it cause I'm no longer with them.
:)
The latest I'm working with is more tracking web apps which has certain big brothers watching my moves. LOL
I have done 2 projects for the banks in HongKong, both are for internal staffs access. One is live stock quote terminal web app, another one is Fx monitoring app.
And now I have 3 projects on hand, 1 will be the public site for financial analysis purpose.
ExtJS makes the development becomes easy and the frontend components can be easily reuse in other projects. Also it can drive the developers to follow the MVC design model, so we can maintain the app more efficiently.
The rich UI provides the excellent user experiences to the client to interact with. Also the AJAX based implementation saves a lot of bandwidth for the clients, this is very important for controlling the operation costs.
So far all of our clients are very impressed by our products.

Actually it's a custom script for compression/caching.
