why is the 3 chars search not supported in this forum?

there are many keywords wich are interesting but the search not find it:

pdf
txt
net
mif
ofc
bus
php
css
wmv
mvc
tip
ext
GXT

i also found this keyword not found BeanModelReaderAdapter with the normal forum search.

but in this search there are 4 threads with this keyword exist! in the forum:

Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms. The following words are either very common, too long, or too short and were not included in your search : CheckBoxSelectionModel

i think as a workaround you should add a text to this search message that this search is buggy and we can try the google custom search and include a link with the given search string.

I have a better workaround.

Change the ft min word len setting in mysql to from 4 to 3.
Change the maximum ft search parameter from 20 to 84 in vBulletin.
Reindex the full text search table.
