FileUploadField Browse button issue

I need some suggestions. See the attachment - the FileUploadField has its Browse button overlayed by the field.

Unfortunately I can't post my code at this time, the panel is used in a complex application layout, and I am in the process of recreating a sample code. To put it plain (if it matters), the panel is in a double nested Border layout...hopefully with all of its parents use FitLayout

But I'd really appreciate if anyone can give some suggestions as potential things to watch out for, techniques for debug, etc. in the mean time.

It appears the problem is rendering the field in a initially hidden panel.

Is this the issue "Fixed sizing issue of Triggerfield, ComboBox, DateField, TwinTriggerfield and FileUploadField if rendered in a hidden area." that's fixed in GXT 2.0.2? Still using 2.0.1 here.

Yes this is a limitation within browsers. If something is hidden with display none, you cannot determine its size. We have worked around this in GXT 2.0.2
