Explanation of GXT CSS

Hi,

I am starting to use GXT as part of a large-scale enterprise application. I'm looking to change the default look and feel of GXT by creating a new theme, but I am having difficulty understanding how the CSS classes fit together e.g. gxt-all.css xtheme-slate.css

Would someone be able to provide an overview of how CSS and themes work with GXT?
