Problem with FileUploadField

Hello everybody,

I use GXT GWT 2.0.4
I have a problem with FileUploadField in Firefox (3.5.3)

when i select the file, in ie I have the path of the file (per example : C:\Documents and Settings\ut0217.000\Bureau\fichier.pdf)

In firefox, I have fichier.pdf

How can I get the same that in ie? because i can't read the file to upload in then.

Hi.

That is browser specific stuff.
But the absence of the complete path (which should be always absent for security reasons) should not be a problem for you.

While performing the form submit, the content of the file will be sent, no matter if the complete path is there or not.

So, if it is not working, probably you have some problem in your code.

BTW: gxt 2.0.1 upload does not work on IE.
I have provided a fix to that, please look for the thread in my signature.

I didn't want to submit the form at first but I didn't find another way to do it so I did what you said.
