Ext version tested:

Ext 3.1 rev 5763

Adapter used:

ext

css used:

only default ext-all.css

Browser versions tested against:

FF3 (firebug 1.5.x.0.b6 installed)

Operating System:

Vista 64bit

Description:

Out of curiosity I tested an extjs 3.0.3 app under 3.1 rev 5763. At some point henricd's uxmedia plugin failed saying that Ext.Element.cache is undefined. So I went to check the same line with extjs 3.0.3 and Ext.Element.cache was still there with objects in it.

Steps to reproduce the problem:

Go into the samples folder and run the hello.html in the windows samples with ext 3.0.3 => make a breakpoint at where the button is handled. Open the Window.

The result that was expected:

Ext.Element.cache should be there with some object in it (more objects should be there if the window was opened before). With ext3.0.3 this was the case.

The result that occurs instead:

with ext 3.1 5763 =>cache is not there, crashes scripts checking cache like uxmedia
(uxmediapak-debug.js around line 1129:

Ext.Element.cache[this.id] = this; )

Debugging already done:

none

A temporary override for me was declaring a namespace like this:

Ext.namespace('Ext.Element.cache');

Not a bug with Ext, you might want to contact the author. Marking as closed.

@thesilentman -- Look for a new zip build shortly for uxMedia to support the latest 3.1 release. (Available in SVN also.)
