GXT faster in IE compared to firefox?

I am realizing in ie the fields seem to render once it is done but in firefox it seems to be adding the fields as it goes.

This makes firefox slower to display. I thought firefox was suppose to have faster javascript? So is gxt just more optimized in coding and displaying for ie?

Standard questions, do you have firebug installed - that will slow down ff a lot. Any chance you are loading the Chrome Frame in ie (that will make ie very fast)?
