Disable keyboard shortcuts

In a tabbed pane when you press "end" on an input it controls which tab you are viewing.

how caan you disable this functionality so you have the default functionality of going to the end of a line.

The only idea I have is to override onKeyPress(ComponentEvent ce) method in TabPanel.

But maybe there are some other points, because normally keyboard pressing fires events on elements that are focused.
