[OPEN-485][3.1r5940] RowEditor causes horizontal scrollbar to appear under IE 6

I'm able to replicate the issue with SVN 5940 and using this example:
examples/grid/row-editor.html

Double-click on a row. The horizontal scrollbar is not shown -- good.

Now double-click again on the same or another row. The horizontal scrollbar appears in the grid. Is this the expected behaviour?
