I have quite an experience with ExtJs, but I am moving to GXT (want to build my next app with GXT). I am quite rusty with Java (did serious Java last with Java1.4), so I am not very used to Spring and Hibernate or JPA (worked with JDBC back then), consequently I've been searching for A SIMPLE but EFFECTIVE way to build my GXT app in a short time and I came across a lot of API's including: GWTx (http://code.google.com/p/gwtx)
GWT-SL (http://gwt-widget.sourceforge.net/)
Gwittr (http://code.google.com/p/gwittir/)
GILEAD (http://noon.gilead.free.fr/gilead/),
Gin (http://code.google.com/p/google-gin/) etc

I am more confused now than when I began, don't know which to use, which works well and is effective but not too difficult to implement, which has to go together, e.t.c

I am sure there are folks who's had successfull GXT projects, Pls how did U guys do it, I simply want a GXT app (quickly) that works well and has good "CRUD" (Persistence and DI should make my work easier in this regard in the long run right?) , I'll appreciate your suggestions (GXT could really use a manuall).

Well, after further searches, reading and experimentation, I settled for JPA using Hibernate as the provider and so far my persistence is working well, thanks to the author(s) of the articles on this site (http://ezhibernate.com/). Cheers
