Ext Designer Question

If you add by code a 'datepicker' xtype element into a proyect xsd file, it's become visible in the Designer, there is some way to add a new 'datepicker component' by myself? is the datpicker a component that you do not support in the designer?, the designer was planned for a limited set of components or it's just for the demo?
