2.2.2.971 column renderer bug disables successfull Project save

Inside a grid column renderer, i inserted buggy code.

Code:

return record.get('ort') + '
' + record.get(land');

The error was an unclosed string at the end.

I can now correct the string, and save to project seems to work, but when i
reopen the project, the bug will still be there.

It seems, that this leads internally to an error that in former versions crashed SA.
But now, the generated META will not be correctly updated!

Very annoying to fix this bug every day!

As a workaroung i manually fixed this inside corresponding metadata.

There a also other situations, where bugs inside methods, etc. lead to an error on saving metadata.

Sadly/luckily SA is currently so stable, that you will notice this issue on next day
opening your project, saving and getting erors fixed the day before ;-(

Please fix it...

"See Config Documentation" links are not working

[OPEN] Architect design view shows nothing

This happens on views where I have a DataView component with useComponents: true and defaultType: "myItemType". If I set useComponents to false or set defaultType to the default value (dataitem) I get a good render. Otherwise, the entire view is empty. This happens every time.
("myItemType" is the xtype (userAlias) of my own DataItem component.)

[DUP] Invalid JS when adding event to ajax proxy

start a new Touch 2 project
add a store (any kind)
click MyAjaxProxy
click Event Bindings add button in config
choose any event (exception or metachange)
change to code view
note the constructor function code is invalid:

Sencha Architect fails to launch on Mac Lion 10.7.5

I have downloaded the 1.0.1.9 Sencha touch complete trial. It installed into my username/bin directory. I then unziped the files and launched sencha architect. It asked me to create an id which went fine. It then asked me to upgrade to 2.2.2. I downloaded the 2.2.2 version of architect and tried to launch it. It fails with and unexpected error message. I rebooted the mac and tried to relaunch it. This time I gat a dialog saying I had 29 days left in the trial and hit continue. It again crashed with an unexpected error. I also tried relaunching the original 1.0.19 version but it also crashed with the same error.

Is there something I am missing in the install. Any help would be appreciated.

[OPEN] Architect deleting svn tmp folder

Each time I use svn to commit changes under the 'app' folder svn presents an error because the 'tmp' folder of the '.svn' folder is missing. I add the folder and the commit succeeds.

The tmp folders are deleted each time the save button of SA is pressed. Presumably there is some script executed to delete files and folders that are perceived to temporary. Is there a way to modify this behavior? Even setting these tmp folders readonly is not enough.

[CLOSED] Unable to show minimized window on Mac

On MAC, there's no Window menu option to show a minimized window!

Steps to reproduce the problem:

open SA
click the yellow (-) "minus" button to minimize
good luck bringing the window back... have to quit and reopen!

The result that was expected:

should be able to bring the window back...

The result that occurs instead:

window disappears with no apparent hope of return

Possible fix:

provide a window menu to restore/unminimize a window for both project selection screen and when you have opened a project.
Perhaps remove the minimize option from the window chrome?

[OPEN] Feature Request: Provide ability for json files as resources

I would like to leverage the Resources section in Architect as a means of specifying test data for a store with an ajax proxy. There are decent alternatives such as the mock data functionality or editing files on the file system directly, but I think this would be the quickest and most direct for the way my team works.

Right now I can add a js file and give it a json extension, say for example customers.json, and it will appear just fine in the Resources section. I can give it a relative path like data/customers.json and I can use this in the ajax proxy to load data. Everything works fine.

The only problem is that the generated app.html tries to do a script include which results in a syntax error since it's a glob of json. To rectify this, I would like the ability to specify js resources but have a flag on them that indicates don't include in app.html even though they will be copied to the server on publish. Or perhaps a new JSON resource type for which this behavior is the default.

DatePicker value code generated incorrectly

Remove anchor property on form fields if user makes mouse movements to change width

I almost never end up with all the fields on a form the same width. I like the fields defaulting to anchor 100%, but if I select a field, hover over the right to get a resize handle, and then make a mouse movement to resize, I would much prefer it if Architect would eliminate the anchor property at that point and switch to using explicit width. The alternative of going into each field manually is a less optimal workflow for me.

Hi, I have a problem, I've downloaded and installed SA 2.2.2 but when I click to launch the aplication :( doesn't start, doesn't happen anything! Help please, I'm running on W7 x64.

[OPEN] Screen Disappears in WYSIWYG

Hi

Interesting bug...I've got a screen which is continually disappearing from the Design view of Architect. When Architect is first opened, the screen renders without issue; however, as soon as an edit is done, the screen disappears. To replicate:

1. Open the file
2. Select view d_disbursements
3. Click the "Add" button in the upper left corner of the Ext.Window.
4. Change the icon class (for instance).
5. Screen disappears.

Clicking Refresh briefly shows the screen, but it blanks itself out straight away.

The relevant information:
Architect Version 2.2.2
Build 971
Release Channel: 2.2.2-stable
Description - specific screen disappears when edited in visual mode.
Steps to reproduce - as above
Result expected - the screen shouldn't disappear when edited.
Operating System - Windows 7 Pro running as a VM on a Ubuntu host.

Known bugs in Architect 2.2.2

Losing classes when upgrading to 2.2.2
Projects containing metadata files that have discrepancies between filename and userClassName (within the file) are lost. See link for workaround

Project Conversion fails with SA 2.2.2b971
Projects that contain non metadata (e.g. desktop.ini) in metadata folders will choke when Architect attempts to upgrade them.

Touch projects containing a Google Maps API resource would lose that resource on upgrade to 2.2.2. This would cause your maps to no longer render.
Workaround: Add it back in so you continue to get the js script added to your app.html. The next patch will fix this issue.

OS X users launching Architect from the Dock get a blank Architect window
Architect has a bootstrap that needs to be run (the app from Applications). When you right click an choose to 'Keep in Dock' it's actually pinning the end game application which won't work.
