What is the purpose of __MACOSX directory contained in the Ext4 preview release?
It only contains bunch of hidden files (beginning with dot) in a strange binary format.

What is the purpose of __MACOSX directory contained in the Ext4 preview release?
It only contains bunch of hidden files (beginning with dot) in a strange binary format.
The zip file has been produced on a system running Mac OSX, they're irrelevent files (mac filesystem metadata).. can just delete the directory :).
