Freeze column with horizontal scrolling

Howdy:
I want to be able to horizontally scroll and freeze the first couple of columns. Is this possible in the grid?
Conversely, I want to be able to use the tree grid and horizontally scroll (and freeze the tree part of the grid), is this possible?

This feature is called locking. Available both for GridPanel and TreePanel.
