    Hi all,

    I'm trying to figure out if it's possible to format a textfield's contents while using the getForm().load method that loads data into my form fields.

    Anyone have a solution?

    In the last codeblocks of your patch you are writing :

    i presume you mean Ext.ux.UploadPanel.js ...

    Didnt have the chance to test this but it might be worth a shot...

    teststore = new Ext.data.JsonStore({
    root: 'records',
    idProperty: 'id',
    fields: ['id', 'name', 'url',...

    mmm, thats odd, because i load the store in a static var for reuse. So theoretically the store is always loaded before setValue...

    Maybe it is the reference to that static store that is set too...

    Why not create all the controls on the toolbar within your javascript, and remove/disable them based on simple json values in your response?
  14. ...or replace a single ' with 2x '
  15. var treeMyFiles = new Ext.tree.TreePanel({
    region: 'west',
    width: 350,
    useArrows: true,
    autoScroll: true,
    animate: true,
    enableDD: true,
    ...
  16. What exactly are you trying to achieve here...
    Your ajax call will never cancel any event whatsoever imho.

    If this is your prefereed way to go, might consider checking stopEvent();
  17. Might be worth looking at :

    Hi all,

    I see you thinking, oh no, not the combobox value posting again. Well, tbh, yes...

    While using the hiddenName config, my combo posts back it's idValue like it should when an item is...
  19. The thing you are looking for is async loading.
    I am using :

    dataUrl: 'php/myfiles.php',
    root: new Ext.tree.AsyncTreeNode({
    text: 'Folders',
    expanded: true,
    id: 'root'
  20. Buttons have their own scope.

    Perhaps use :

    KnowledgeBase.Forums.Forum.Thread.PostEdit.Editor = new Ext.Window ({
    this.SavePost = function()
    {
    //code here

    In my humble opinion you cannot use Javascript to explore a user's hard drive or any resource of the local system outside the browser's context.

    This would create some serious security issues if...
  22. Quick snippet that should get you going :

    var header = new Ext.Panel({
    border: false,

    region: 'north',
    cls: 'docs-header',
    height: 120,
