  1. Perhaps this will help:
    http://www.screencast.com/t/90BbRq1Lp
  2. You can simply add items to the toolbar like this:

    dockedItems: [{
    xtype: 'pagingtoolbar',
    store: store, // same store GridPanel is using
    dock: 'bottom',
    ...
  3. Sounds like you have a bad layout. Ext 4.07 was a sloppy release and allowed a lot of bad layouts. In later versions, the API would not allow for this to happen.

    I would what it was required to...
  4. Should be able to use:

    text: {field-reference}{label}
    dataIndex: 'field'

    Both will work.

    Alias will have a type qualifier in the string, while xtype is just a string.

    More of a preference.
  6. You can use the following to get selections

    grid.getSelectionModel().getSelection()
  7. In a column:

    Thanks for the report! I have opened a bug in our bug tracker.

    You might be able to get past this for now by adding a listener and using a method to collaps
  9. You need to use the ext, as it is an override.
  10. You are on the right track on using packages:
    http://docs.sencha.com/extjs/4.2.3/#!/guide/command_packages
    http://docs.sencha.com/extjs/4.2.3/#!/guide/command_package_authoring :: see Integrating...

    We do not have anything like that. You would have to RYO.

    Renderer is not going to change how it groups, but only how it displays. You would need to convert that data first at the store.

    See 'convert' to create calculated field that is by year....
  13. If you load:
    http://docs.sencha.com/extjs/5.0/

    Then click on 'Ext JS Guides' at the very top left, a drop down will show all the versions. There is a 'ZIP' link besides each version.
  14. >>> i am rendering viewport in a div

    Viewport is meant for the entire body and have 1 instance per app. You should try with a panel/container.
  15. Have you inspected the buttons in IE8 to see why? ( hint images )
  16. I do not recall seeing transparent menus, but I could be wrong. Can you see this in our examples or a screenshot?

    It would be easier if we had a small test case of your setup:
    https://fiddle.sencha.com/#home

    You should be able to use getClass. Are you using any buffering in your store/grid?
  18. Out of the box, not at this time.
  19. Something like this?
    https://fiddle.sencha.com/#fiddle/ada
  20. You would simply have to redraw the chart as new.
  21. Updated download link:
    http://cdn.sencha.com/downloads/docs/ext-docs-5.0.zip
  22. Should be something like there where you use create on the instance of the class:

    Ext.define('My.Window', {
    extend: 'Ext.window.Window',
    items: [{
    xtype: 'textfield',
    ...
  23. When you add the dates to the axis, you are specifying a hard range. Any better result if you just remove them and use only your data?
  24. >>> but I am not getting what the ajax url is

    That is the server side function that sends the file back.
  25. Make sure you have all the correct requires for your chart, Ext.chart.*, Ext.util.*, etc

    Scott.
