  1. If you want to refresh a store with paging parameters, use pbar.doRefresh() rather than force-feeding the params to a store load.
  2. In Firefox 3.0.x, the following test results in the bbar being chopped off, seemingly pushed off the screen by the canvas element. The bar is sized correctly if left as a tbar.

    Seems odd to include them in the distribution until then. Looking forward to seeing it though.

    I notice that tests are distributed with 3.2. How can I run the test suite (how can I get it)?
  5. I still see this error all the time in 3.1.1 with Firefox 3.0, 3.5, and 3.6.
  6. False alarm.

    How can I make an Ext.Panel overlay a Java applet? I assumed that the Panel cfg "shim" (default: true) along with "floating" (set to true) would be enough, but the test case below fails:

    You can use Ext.form.Field's markInvalid method. It will not prevent the field value from submitting if used by itself. I'd listen on each form field's "change" event and use markInvalid.
  11. Your store is only holding $pageSize records at a given time with the typical paging toolbar configuration. I think you'll have to maintain the checkbox state in your own code, updating the UI on...
  12. Solved, I had to set a type for the field in question.
  13. I have a store that sorts in an unexpected way. Here is the store code:

    store: {
    xtype: 'arraystore',
    fields: ['field', 'value']
    }And here's how it sorts. Note that the first two...

    Is there a way to provide a number to a <tpl for="n"> tag so that its contents are repeated n times? I'd rather not have to create mock arrays for that.

    Edit: Although this is useful for such a...
  16. grid.getTopToolbar().on('change', function() { grid.selModel.selectFirstRow(); })
    That leaves the glaring bug that I don't know in which direction it changed. If paging backwards, I'd want to select...

    Any sort of a timeline on this? I really appreciate the high-quality work, but I need to decide whether it's time to upgrade this myself for 3.x after many months of hearing this.
  18. Is there any way to distinguish between a user-initiated checkchange event and one from code (TreeNodeUI.toggleCheck)? This is very problematic for what I'm doing right now. Handling the click event...
  19. Note that this is for 3.x.

    I provided this in my subclass of TreePanel's initComponent. It could easily be used standalone:

    if(config.radio) {
    // Imitation radio...

    Thanks! I just wanted to make sure I'm not wasting cycles computing a sum that's already available somewhere.

  22. The behavior you describe is provided by ComboBox. You can also have a pager in the combo options, similar to the scrolling approach you describe, so I'd look at what ComboBox provides before writing...

    Please let me know if this test case is insufficient, or if I'm talking out of somewhere special.
  24. I think that will work well enough for an individual request. I see that loadData will also load the metaData property if present, so that is very helpful. So you would recommend performing this with...
  25. I can easily set up a URL that will serve data listings on demand in bulk, saving HTTP requests. So, a request such as "/data?models=Cats,Dogs,Rats,Hats" would return a packet:

    {
    "Cats": {...
