  1. Thank you SimonTheSorcerer for your explanation.

    I have also stumbled on the following blog post which indicates that a simple solution would be to build using package mode instead of production...

  3. @SimonTheSorcerer, thank you, this saved my day.

    I'm not sure I understand what the "(42, eval)" does, but it works great.

    Since an alert is created on the fly, I believe the easiest way to have the title and message translated would be to get the values directly from the Locale Manager as so:

    Ext.Msg.alert( ...

    Hi,

    Is it possible to build a debug version; keeping all the code inside the //<debug> tags using the Sencha Touch SDK ?

    I've tried to build with the option -e testing parameter, but it still...

    @mitchellsimoens,

    Any ideas on how to get this working for an Ext.MessageBox ?
    Since they are created on the fly, the setLocale function isn't called by the manager.

    Thank you.
  8. Here's my attempt to a Ext.navigation.View clearHistory function:

    clearHistory: function(){

    var navigationBar = this.getNavigationBar();

    this.stack = [this.stack.pop()];
  9. I'm also looking for a similar feature.

    It seems to me the best way to address this is through a clearHistory function that removes all items from the stack except for the currently active item,...

    Could you post a regular override or extend code in the mean time ?

    Thank you.

    I've slightly modified Ux.locale.override.st.Container to allow specifying a title on a non tabbed container.

    The patch is attached.
    I've also submitted a pull request on GitHub.

    Just what I'm looking for, except that I use Sencha Touch 2.0 :(
    Has anyone ported this to ST 2 ?

    Thank you.

    Here's an example:

    Ext.define('User', {
    extend: 'Ext.data.Model',
    fields: [
    {
    name: 'title',
    type: 'string'
  16. This looks like a duplicate of the bug http://www.sencha.com/forum/showthread.php?161239-PR3-selectfield-getValues-issue
    It seems that setting a value in the config overrides the getValue function...
  17. I had the same issue with a sliderfield.
    As a workaround, I set the value using the setValue function instead of setting it through the config.

    I'm guessing the issue happens because of automatic...
  18. According to the documentation of the event beforesubmit in Ext.form.Panel , I should be able to modify the values submitted, but I can't figure out how.

    I've tried modifying the variable...

    I kind of agree with you, but in the project I'm working on, each item in the list is geolocalized, and the items at the bottom of the list are the ones closer to the person holding the device.

  21. Kakahn,

    This won't work either. The itemTpl processes one item at a time, so the xindex will always be 1.
    It only makes sence to use the xindex value if each item has a value in the form of an...

    I'm trying to create an upside down List, where the items start from the bottom.

    So instead of something like this:
    29665

    I'd like it to look like this:
    29666
  23. From http://docs.sencha.com/touch/2-0/#!/api/Ext.XTemplate:

    I believe the xindex cannot be used as you intend to. It refers to the index of an array item within the template, and not the index...

    Thank you mitchellsimoens.

    I tried both, but none worked. I'm guessing it's because I'm doing this in the config object.

    I ended up using a local variable that I update using the getItemTpl...
