Glad to know that you can evaluate my programming ability without having a clue as either my requirements, nor to my end product quality. You must have amazing insight.
Your response and all like...

Tell you what. You create a multi-tabbed page, oh say 6 tabs, with let's say 40 different controls on each tab (you know, labels inputs, buttons, etc).
Now carefully time the tab switch time...

-- perhaps, it appears that most of the others who worked visibly to try get Sencha to fulfill their commitment to fix the performance problems have left the community

Since AjaxBlahBlah continues his hatchet job on any alternative to ExtJS, now including DHTMLX (based upon a comparison done 6 years ago...), I thought I'd add some current info:

Why was this breaking change made?
and yet another year goes by without this performance problem being fixed...
It was thoroughly documented several years ago (eg: http://www.sencha.com/forum/showthread.php?136886) and although...

10 Reasons to Choose DHTMLX Suite
Since the date field is a compound component similar to a combobox, this may very well be an old problem. See this post for a description of what happens with combobox (triggerfield):

Most interesting brian428. Perhaps you just exposed Sencha's motivation for a short term money grab while burning bridges for the future...

Interesting that enterprise_dev was a brand new forum member and his/her one and only post is now missing...
Perhaps they think eclipse is only used by small companies...(you know, less than 5 developers).

The single developer license issue *has* been addressed. It has been eliminated. Clearly Sencha is only interested in enterprise customers and they have every right to limit their target audience as...

If I were really skeptical, I'd expect the first build that has few enough bugs to be really useful will be a support subscriber only release and will occur immediately after then next annual payment...
Once again, Sencha showed and claimed huge performance improvements (ie FASTBOOK), but the demo was an incomplete, ultimately non-deployable solution. In other words, vaporware.

And as noted earlier, Ed Spencer stated that he moved that company *away* from Sencha tools and gained a large performance increase, along with better programmer productivity...

Exactly what part of Mullany's words:
do you not understand. You call this my standard...it is Sencha's repeated commitment. BTW, if you bothered to search these forums for ..oh, say,...

Just to be sure that any readers of this know the truth about Sencha's failed commitment regarding performance. CEO Mullany wrote this in Nov 2011:

I'm done attempting to communicate with Toady. It's rather amazing to see him try to deny the very problems admitted to by Sencha. This statement:completely proves that he has *not* read the threads...
