  1. I wonder what's the deal, though -- is there a really simple solution to this problem that people just come across, and then forget to write about, or is not much development done with ExtJS via...
  2. I've been getting this same message for years now -- setting Ext.SSL_SECURE_URL makes no difference. I've set it to gifs and to empty files. It doesn't matter what the user clicks, either yes or no...
  3. Give 'em time! Ext.ND is good code -- it takes a while to get just right.

    Had this same problem -- sticking this into a css overrides file should do the trick:

    .ext-safari .x-date-picker {
    width: 185px;
    }

    .ext-chrome .x-date-picker {
    width: 185px;

    Could I make a request? All my dev is done at my company on servers that don't default to "index.html" when loading a directory URL -- could those URL's be made absolute in the next release of Sencha...
  6. Aye, right now I'm just adding via the BasicForm's add() -- I _could_ make a new method, but I'm lazy. :P

    Good lord -- didn't know all that had went on. You guys take your time. Need any help; I've got 5 years Domino+Ext/JS experience. ;)
  8. I fix it like this by adding some CSS to my overrides file:

    /**---------------------------------------------------------------
    *** Safari override fixes ...
  9. Aye -- that's what I've pretty much discovered. Odd that the underlying BasicForm can still access them with "getValues()", though -- does this mean that this fix mentioned here never happened? :-?
  10. I found an old thread somewhat similar to this here, but it doesn't seem to be fixed in 2.2 (or 2.3.0, but I'm using 2.2), as far as I can see.

    Test: I start with a Form, add some fields, and...

    Aye, there may be a reason why they had to use the special DXLExporter agent -- perhaps some functionality that the regular ReadDesign didn't offer?

    There was some really nice documentation for Ext.nd made in the exact same style as the official ExtJS documentation -- I wonder where it went...
  16. Aye, it makes a difference -- if I'm understanding this correctly, only a POST command can include a key-value list -- GET commands just transfer information using the URL query string.

    ...I...
  17. Sounds like the Domino we all know and love. :P
  18. Do you mean when you're performing other ajax commands, not just working with an Ext.Grid?

    Would something like this help? It's a code I use that automatically displays a little ajax loading box...

    I'm also working on a wee bit of code for File Uploads. ;)

    Curious to see what you've been working on, too.

    If you ask me, isn't the idea behind Ext.Direct used to code JS applications that could potentially be used on many server-side frameworks?

    I could see this being useful if you were wanting to...

    I agree with what Joe said there. I don't know if you'll have to change your code greatly or not, but the only way to do it would be to chain the ajax events together using their callback functions...
  24. Pretty sure there's some documentation included with the package you get -- it's in the same style as the stock ExtJS stuff, very nicely done.

    Not impossible, just going to take a bit of coding! Have faith.
