  1. Yes, there's addFields method.
  2. I was trying to find something in the documentation and there is nothing about completion of twoway binding. Perhaps it is a good candidate for a feature request.
  3. It is unexpected and unusual behavior. File it as a bug please.
  4. See if init, beforeInit, initViewModel of ViewController would do.
  5. If you set an id on a new record it is not considered new. Just leave the id empty.
  6. You should fix all "synchronous loading warnings" in the devel version by requiring classes Ext complains about. It's not that big deal: If you know you use Img in a form, just put it to requires of...
  7. And what happens if you remove the validation completely? Can you then set empty value?

One possibility comes to my mind: Do you assign ids to the new records? If yes, that could be the root of the problem because Ext may then assume that the added records are not new so it does not...
  10. I don't think it is even possible. This 5.0.0 example works how you want, right. However, 5.0.1 + does not let you to set data field to an invalid value. I haven't found any config that could change...

UX stands for user extension and it was originally meant as the namespace given to users to avoid name collisions with core Ext classes. Later the ux namespace was also used for classes developed by...
  12. It seems that model refuses to set its field to an invalid value. I cannot say if it is an intended behavior or a bug. It could be configurable, if intended.

    Try to configure:

    controllers:['base.ApplicationController']

That creates instance of it that may not be what you want though. Or you can remove the extra instance on app launch.
  15. Ext does not have any way of finding out. In other words, there is no built-in method that you could call to find if order of records changed. Store does not care about order of records in fact,...

This way of localization seems too complicated to me, although it may have its benefits. Are you sure that you cannot use the way described in this guide:...

Although it now does what you want, another parts of Ext may depend on this new behavior so something else may break. I still believe that it is better to get used to the behavior - not deliver...

You need to pack it for architect. See both parts of http://www.sencha.com/blog/building-a-user-extension-and-integrating-it-into-sencha-architect-3-part-1

I quite understand your dislike but I'm afraid the behavior is not going to change. We just have to learn how to live with it.

I haven't found a way other than not delivering unwanted fields from the server.

Yes, this is the intended behavior. Now it is not necessary to define all fields in model as long as we can do with the defaults.
  23. I've done it eventually. See http://extjs.eu/ext-examples/#bind-grid-form

The trick is to do the dirty job in viewmodel so that you can bind disabled of button.

Right, getData is automatically created getter that returns internal mixed collection where the data is kept.

Usefulness of this collection is questionable - I have no idea what I could do with it...

Yeah, I haven't seen buttons/icons in group header either. Nevertheless, the code is too old - for 2.x or 3.x versions - so it is not usable for ExtJS 4.x or 5.x
