With jQuery I can send data to my asp.net XML webservice (asmx file).
url: ... , // URL TO ASMX FILE WITH AT THE END THE NAME OF THE METHOD

Do you want to keep the source code proprietary? No? In that case no license is needed.
I don't know the answer but maybe you have to show some code...

Nope, and that is because I'm using the older extension (with Maps V2). Why? Because that is the one I can get to work. In the older version I could not find a createInfoWindow function.
