Please refer YUI version 2.5.2, they already done it properly

I think it is better to hide by checking the disabled dates or give an handler to he to day button (which overrides "to day" button handler)

1. Set the properties maxValue and minValue before today
2. Then What is the use of "Today" button in date picker ?

There is no option for hide this button

in basic form doc in ext2 specifies the data (JSON response) should be in this format
