  4. Well the Chart class is a DrawComponent so you could add your own custom sprites on top of the chart using addSprite along with using the axis bbox and scale values as a guide for placing them.

  12. This is not a bug. This can be fixed by increasing the default insets around the chart by calling setDefaultInsets.
