I'm going to try walking up the Dom from the element I'm collapsing and will llook to change visibility or width on the auto generated div's etc that create the collapsed strip handle....

Does anyone know of a simple way to disable display of the collapsed region bar. Basically I want to collapse the region on page load and have it effectivley hidden. I'll expand the region manually....
