    Do not use java.util.Date, use sting representation instead or your own object for holding day, month, year, hour, minute etc.
    Or you can change Date serializer inside GWT
  8. This kind of perspective - not detailed features list, for ex. there is no info about plans to add interfaces for some kinds of components, as also no terms on GXT 3. Looks like sweet candy for...

    se.getSelectedItem() to get your item.
  11. It can be if you are calling setActiveItem() before your panels are rendered.
    If panel is not rendered method expand() is doing nothing and do not fires event BeforeExpand.

    Normally no one can click on data - because data is just data. You can add SelectionChangeListener to your treePanel.getSelectionModel().

    The only idea I have is to override onKeyPress(ComponentEvent ce) method in TabPanel.

    But maybe there are some other points, because normally keyboard pressing fires events on elements that...
  14. You should look for textbox after rendering dialog.
    So you can add listener to messageBox.getDialog() for Events.Show.

    Actually I have solved this problem with rebuilding gwt libs for my project including patch to SerializabilityUtil class. Another possibility is just to replace this class in gwt-servlet.jar.
  16. Take a look on onBeforeExpand(ComponentEvent ce) method.

    Inside your button click event handler get tab item from tab panel using its item id or just index then tabPanel.setSelection(tabItem);
  20. You can try messageBox.getTextBox().setValue("value");

    You can take a look for FormPanel and its submit() method.
  22. Thanks.
  23. Maybe make sense to update svn - cause I cannot found this fixed in svn/releases/2.1
  24. Just from hot downloaded sources

    /**
    * DragFail event type.
    */
    public static final EventType DragFail = null;
  25. I've tried them right now - they are ok.
    Well may be that is connected to some IE8 settings. Anyway if in most cases it works - just close this bug request.
