  2. I need to bump this because I'm still having the problem and I need to launch an app next week.... at this stage I'm rebuilding code line by line and it's a decent sized app, very time consuming on...
  3. ^ actually I got this working using navigator.geolocation with the deviceready listener as well... but I think using the Ext.device package is more convenient for compatibility sake
  4. I think I just fixed my problem on iOs at least, I had to include the GeoLocation plugin from Cordova into my build... I think what happens is that the HTML5 device gets found if the plugin doesn't...
  5. I am also having this problem, there doesn't seem to be any way to have the location services request fire just once... really frustrating.
  6. Once the cache is cleared it does work as expected.

The issue always comes back when I try to update the app, sometimes it's a loading indicator freeze other times its an update message loop.
    ...
  7. I've been pulling my hair out with this issue related to "sencha app build production", somehow after updating my app, the app no longer loads on my iphone and sometimes (with no deltas) the...
  8. I actually need Touch 2.3 beta 2 and the link is gone also.
  9. I was suggesting that method you are referencing doesn't appear to exist in 2.1, I haven't checked 2.1.1 yet but I will do.

    Chrome:
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'Device' of undefined

    ...
  14. thanks Sven, that's actually the same as my code and it's still not working on sencha 2.1 final.. I don't get it, and it's throwing an Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'Device' of undefined ...
  15. Hi Sven, I'm using RC2, but could you maybe share with me one of your openURL lines? I just want to make sure I have the syntax right.
  16. I got native to build and work with ios6 with the new CMD 3.0.0.230 but I can't get certain native functionalty to work, namely GPS and device openURL. GPS works on iOS5, openURL doesn't work at all.
  17. and it's a native build using CMD 3.0.0.230
  18. Sorry Mitchell, I don't know why this is difficult to understand... basically the following code is throwing the locationerror event on iOS6 and the locationupdate event on iOS5:

    var geo =...
  19. So I've gotten my app to build for native with Touch 2.1RC2 and Sencha CMD 3.0.0.230, no more stbuild.exe error message... but now devices don't seem to be working properly, the GPS is throwing on...

  22. Tried out the latest Sencha Cmd 3.0.0.201 for windows and 2.1 RC2 today.. finally got my 2.1 app to build in production with plugins and just warnings...which is great, native build however crashes...
  23. I actually took out the references to the plugins and still got the rest of the errors... the familiar line 707 error that a lot of people seem to be getting... I think we need to wait until the next...

Well to me this is a strange analogy, I never said HTML5 was a silver bullet... I mean a silver bullet suggests that Sencha Touch would be the only effective tool for mobile development... I'm saying...
  25. the Ext.ns part was part taken from the map example....
