  1. Fiddle: https://fiddle.sencha.com/#fiddle/a33

When you have, say, a number field bound to a view model, you can get some negative interactions between the field and the view model.

    As you type...
  2. Okay. Looks like for some reason my doco isn't quite in sync with my codebase. (The published documentation is correct, but the archive I downloaded around release time isn't)

    The correct column...
  3. In ExtJS 5, there's a new configuration property for grid columns - wrap. I can't get it to work.

    I've got an example fiddle - https://fiddle.sencha.com/#fiddle/a16

    Curiously, when I take the...
  4. Also, that bug report states that the bug didn't exist in 5.0.0 - whereas this one does. Are you sure this is a duplicate?
  5. Note that the workaround in the other thread (assigning unique ids) does _not_ solve this bug. (Fiddle is updated to demonstrate that)
  6. See https://fiddle.sencha.com/#fiddle/9cj

When you close a view that has a view controller that listens to global events, it doesn't clean up properly - there is an instance that exists, with no...
  7. Thanks. I did have a go at the footer function, but had some issue (the details of which escape me right now).

    I'll give this a go.
  8. Yeah, I got my code working eventually. But this is not covered at all in the upgrade guide (there's a hint to a change to groupers, but that's it), and the GroupingCollection is private. A breaking...
  9. In Ext 5.0, the Ext.data.Store#getGroups() method is returning an array of undefined values. (This is probably related to the fact that getData() also returns undefined values)

    Fiddle code - works...
  10. I haven't done the upgrade on my main apps, but I just put together a dummy app from scratch with 5.0.1, and it worked okay.

Basic troubleshooting, then, before putting the blame on the gradle...
  11. No, I'm providing a static variable for the default regex, and then overriding the createMatcherRegex to use that instead of the existing hard coded string.

    Ext.define('MyApp.app.route.Route',...
  12. For various reasons, I need to change the delimiter used in route handling - the | symbol is a valid part of a id value for our data, so I need to delimit on something else.

    I see in the...
  13. The documentation for Ext.data.field.Field#allowBlank says that "An empty value here will cause Ext.data.Model.isValid to evaluate to false."

(I know allowBlank is marked private - but it's...
  14. Yes, I know they work with references. But are they intended to be used for anything else?

It's a field property, not a reference property. And the documentation says "When used with references...
  15. As per the title: when you define a field to be unique, does that actually do anything?

As per this fiddle - https://fiddle.sencha.com/#fiddle/8b7 - it doesn't stop you making multiple models with...
  16. If you have a store with a sorter on it, and you change the value of the sorted field on a model in the store, the store automatically re-sorts. This is all well and good.

    If you call...
  17. Well, that's what git submodules are for...
  18. I'm trying to write a Feature for an Ext.grid.Panel. The feature should add a new row at the bottom of the table, which when you click in it adds a new Model to the backing store.

    Most of this is...
  19. If anybody is interested, I've posted a short article on how to use Gradle with ExtJS 5, as a way of augmenting the generated build.xml (in this case, by adding up-to-date checks so you don't need to...
  20. Thanks. That did work - for me. Is there a file I can add that to in the workspace, which I can then commit into source control, so that it gets picked up by the other devs on my team?
  21. The documentation for Ext.grid.feature.Feature suggests invoking Ext.view.Table.addTpl, or Ext.view.Table.addRowTpl or Ext.view.Table.addCellTpl, depending on what you want the feature to do.

    All...
  22. Is there a way to set the default environment ('production', 'testing', 'development', etc) for Sencha Cmd?

In particular, I want the default environment to be 'development'.

    I can change the...

Well, the charts aren't in the ext-all.js file. But you can include them manually if you need to - simply load the files. But I really wouldn't recommend trying to do it by hand.
  24. Ah - missed that. I'm still not used to trawling through the sencha-core package in addition to the main source code.

Which actually tells me how to best document it - create an override to...

Oh, you definitely can. Make your own index.html page, and put in a section like this:

    <script type="text/javascript" src="ext/ext-all.js"></script>
    <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css"...
