    I've just tried the test case from the original post with ExtJS 5.0.1.

    It appears the issue is still reproducible. The results are:

    IE10 59 => 246 MB
    FireFox 106 => 144 MB
    Chrome ...

    There is an override to play/test with.

    You can try some fonts in that override. Read the next post, it helped that guy.

    Indeed, there is a problem to distinguish a bar which a Renderer is called for. A BarSeries's Renderer is called for shadows as well, not for bars only. Also a record parameter might be undefined....
