  1. Thank you mahesh_yamsani, I really appreciate it!

    The override worked great!
  2. Is there an override available to solve this until 4.2.1 is released?
  3. The solution I posted above no longer seems to be working for me.

    Anyone have a better suggestion?

    Was really hoping this bug would have been fixed in RC2.
  4. Yes this bug still exists in RC2 and affects fields as well as fieldcontainers.

    The solution I used is this override -

    Ext.override(Ext.form.field.Base, {
    setFieldLabel:...

  7. Just switched to PR2 today and am now receiving the same error when trying to sync with localstorage, but did not receive the error using PR1.

    Chrome Error: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot call method...
  8. I had trouble getting this to work as well. Here is how I got it to work -

    Ext.define('CurrencyType', {
    extend: 'Ext.data.Model',
    fields: [
    {name:'code'},
    {name:'name'},
    ]
  9. I got it to work by following the methods used in the kitchensink example

    Create another view like this called Main

    Ext.define('MyApp.view.Main', {
    extend: 'Ext.Panel',
    ...
  10. and the view would be -

    {
    id: 'lastNameField',
    xtype: 'searchfield',
    name: 'lastName',
    label: 'Last Name'
  11. I'm still learning the ST2 MVC but if I'm not mistaken then my understanding is to put the listener event in the this.control handler of the controller

    Ext.define('YourApp.controller.Main',...

    No problem, I am just learning as well -

    Instead of placing the button in the launch handler of app.js place it in a view

    app.js

    Ext.Loader.setConfig({ enabled: true });...

    Try putting the button inside of a view and using a ref to it

    Try changing itemtap to tap in this.control

    Ext.define('myApp.controller.myC', {
    extend: 'Ext.app.Controller',

    init: function() {

    Install xampp or wamp etc and try changing your path to http://localhost/path/to/file/index.html
  16. I was having a very similar issue where I could load a store twice but on the third time I got:

    Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'isReader' of undefined

  17. I had a similar scenario that I solved by using an AJAX request to generate a string of id's to load into the multiselect field then split the string into an array and then setValue(arr)

    Glad to drop the browser detect as it was a dirty hack!

    Have you tried adding the chart as an item to a panel?

    var chart1 = Ext.create('Ext.chart.Chart', {
    width: 800,
    height: 600,
    animate: true,
    store: store1,

    I have a tree that loads its nodes dynamically via ajax.

    Setting modal: true on the form's window will disable all other components on the page until the window is closed preventing the user from clicking to open another window.
  25. Here is how I got it to work -

    var image1 = Ext.create('Ext.Img', {
    src: 'src/to/img.jpg',
    renderTo: 'image_div',
    cls: 'image_class',
