    The problem is that .97 is buggy when it comes to scrolling panels. Not to mention we have a requirement that a user is able to click a panel and it'll open up and show more information. Bascially...

    Not without releasing the app. In the meantime I've switched back to .93 as the scrolling panels work much better there for what we need and inspected the panel scroller object. I found an...

    Unfortunately, like .96, .97 breaks the carousel on the page. Instead of everything being lined up properly like it does on .93, each successive panel stair steps down the page.

    Wow, kind of a dick reply. Maybe since we're in the Sencha Touch forum, I didn't feel the need to write the entire thing out? And the last time I tried upgrading to .96 of Sencha Touch it broke...

    Is there any way to slow down the acceleration on the Sencha carousels? I'm using the 0.93 version of Sencha and there are times where I'll drag the pane, stop and let go and it'll just accelerate...

    My carousel also broke when moving to .96, reverted back to .93 for now.

  8. I'm not sure why this is happening. But it seems like it happens frequently when using Sencha Touch. We see this kind of static fuzz when objects on the screen first draw. Sometimes it goes away...

    Because most functions return an object so that you can chain methods. The really weird thing is that this isn't built into the elements somehow like it is in the regular ExtJS framework. jQuery is...

    Nevermind, it definitely did work, just had to set the parameter to show it and ignore the fact that it doesn't return anything.

    Weird, I just ran this in my inspector and got "undefined" back.

    I'm using Sencha Touch 0.93 and it seems there's no .fadeOut() method althought it's listed in the ExtJS documentation. Are these kind of effects just different in Sencha touch or was this...
  13. Right, but in my carousel I have the panels expanding when you click on them to reveal more information about that particular item. When someone expands a panel and it goes outside of the visible...
  14. This is how I'm calculating where it's scrolled to currently and then either adding or subtracting from that to make the panel scroll the way I want it to.

  15. So in order to figure out where that panel sits inside of the scroller can I use translatePoints somehow? I was trying to just use this.getX(), but that seems to just be relative to the document's...
  16. Hopefully this is the last question regarding the carousel. Is there any way to programatically scroll the panel to a certain coordinate?

    I'm wondering because when I'm clicking on the elements...

    This may be a question for a Sencha employee, but I'm wondering how the licensing of Sencha works. We're developing an app for a client using Sencha Touch and they'll be giving it out for free.

  18. You're a genius, works perfectly, thank you!
  19. Mine is firing the el alert before the link alert, same code, just set up in a carousel.
  20. When I do pretty much that exact code, I get the el alert going off and then the link alert goes off.

    new Ext.Panel({
    fullscreen: true,
    scroll: 'horizontal',

  21. Thanks,

    Now the problem I'm running into is there are links inside the HTML that goes into each item of the carousel and when clicking on them I'm getting the panel tap code running.

    I've even...
  22. I read something about them, but haven't played with them yet.

    I got the carousel I was looking for working by doing this.

    var items = [];
    //Here I would generate the items themselves, for...
  23. I've actually gotten this working by adding this in the afterrender listener on the carousel

    afterrender: function(c) {
    c.items.each(function(item) {
    item.el.on('tap', function()...
  24. I'm actually looking for this as well. Having a click/tap event on a carousel panel.
  25. Hey guys,

    I've been able to go through and make the single card per page type carousel that they show in the kitchen sink, but what I'm having a hard time with is creating a carousel where there...
