    but i do remember how i was going about it, maybe it may help you...

    check if its a displayfield, if not, set new widths and wrap it with the divs before insert

    yes, one way is to manipulate it by using the rowexpander's expand event and configuring the tpl with a div with id and then rendering your panel or form to that id

    layout: 'hbox',

    you may have to play around with it a bit since i didnt bother to test it
