    The support of ie6 and ie7 has been removed in GWT 2.6. And as far as I know, the support of ie6 and ie7 has also been removed in GXT 3.1. Maybe you set the property in your gwt.xml?

    As far as I know, the current versions of GWT does not support GWT 2.6.0. You have to wait until the next version of GXT, which will support 2.6.0.
  4. Hi Colin,

    I will try to separate the problem into a single test case.

  5. The ConfirmMessageBox has a different - not correct - layout in FireFox.

    Using the same code in Chrome does not show any problem.

    Mac OS X 10.8.4 - GXT 3.0.6

    Layout ok -> Chrome

    I agree with Holger. GXT 3 is faster than GXT 2.2, especially when using GWT 2.5.1.

    The migration is a good chance to improve the user interface and update the implemantation.

    Can't reproduce this problem on windows 7 & FF 22

    @kataria.mx:
    can you provide a test case that shows the problem?
  11. I think so.
  12. Am I right in assuming that you are using GXT 3.0.1?
    A few days ago there were a similar discussion. Take a look here:...
  13. Hi,

    I would suggest to use a BorderLayoutContainer instead of VerticalLayoutContainer.

    Just one thought:

    If an empty string is a undesirable value, why not use the set-method of the bean to convert emtpy strings to null?
  16. I am also using mvp4g, GXT 3 and TabPanels in my applciation. It works as expected.

    Have you tried to call forceLayout() after adding your panel to the TabPanel?

    You are right. I switch back to the second version:

    <inherits name='com.sencha.gxt.ui.GXT' />

    But I need more than an hour to find out, why my tree was looking so bad. :-D

    Hi Colin,

    I read your post about optimizing a GXT application.
    One of your advices is to use:

    <inherits name="com.sencha.gxt.widget.core.Core"/>
    <inherits name="com.sencha.gxt.state.State"/>...

  20. As far as I know, there is no MVC-pattern in GXT 3.0. :-)

    You can choose any mvp framework you like. Use native GWT MVP with Activites & Places, or choose one of the MVP frameworks like...
  21. The things you are requesting are not really related to GXT.

    Things like loading data, using the editor framework, mvp, etc. are more related to GWT then to GXT (as Colin already mentioned). You...
