  1. Here is a Sencha Fiddle with the stripped down code which hopefully will help get the idea across: https://fiddle.sencha.com/#fiddle/9d4
  2. I'm working on an app where I need to be able to determine the last clicked segmented button. For instance, I have Button 1, Button 2, Button 3, and a More button. Let's say that Button 2 is toggled...

    Excellent! I didn't know how to listen to the mask's tap event.

    One more quick question: how would I call a function in the controller from inside the updateHideOnMaskTap function?

    I have a modal panel with a list inside. When a user clicks outside the panel (hideOnMaskTap) or on a list item, the panel gets hidden. Is there any method to determine when just the mask is tapped...
  6. Yup, that did it. I'm working in Sencha Architect, so I simply unchecked the 'hidden' option on the panel and now it initializes correctly. Thanks!
  7. I appreciate the example code. Perhaps I'm not making myself clear. I'll try to illustrate using screenshots.

    Here's the app so far. Upon tapping the "More" button in the toolbar, an overlay...
  8. I couldn't filter by a hard-coded courseID since they are auto defined and can vary. Finally came up with a solution.

    I changed the following controller action:

  9. I have an overlay panel that is called by a button tap (let's call it showButton). The panel currently gets hidden once an internal list item is tapped or onMaskTap. I want to fire an action as the...
  10. You could also set the row height in your CSS/SASS.

    .yourList .x-list-item {
    height: 80px; /* min-height would work here also, but allows the list item to exceed the specified height */
    }...
  11. After grabbing the results from your store, you could try to limit the results for each list using a range.

    yourList.setStore({
    data: Ext.Array.pluck(results.getRange(0,5),'data'),
    ...
  12. I have a segmented button that basically is acting like a tabpanel control, switching card layout views on tap. Due to space considerations, only 5 segmented buttons are visible, and the overflow...
  13. Shouldn't the SortableList Plugin be added?
  14. I too am curious as to why the Sortable List Plugin is missing from Architect.

    In the end, I was able to accomplish this by creating specific IDs for each data item, accessing the parent item, and adding the class.

    itemTpl:

    <div id="questionItem-{[xindex]}"...

    That makes sense. Any suggestions on how to dynamically add a class to a specific data item?

    I think I'm following what you are saying. questionItem is a variable that references the individual items of a DataView component. I assumed based on this post that the data items could be...

    I know where it's failing:

    questionItem.addCls('x-item-selected');

    My problem is that I don't know enough about Javascript to figure out why it's failing here.

    I'm not a Javascript pro, so I'm having a bit of trouble adding a class to a dataview item when a toolbar button is pressed.

    Essentially when the toolbar button is pressed, the following function...

    Those are the steps, although the most recent version of Architect allows me to ignore the circular reference, restart Architect, or exit Architect. It doesn't seem to crash anymore.

    I realized I was running SASS 3.1.10. I updated SASS to 3.2.12 but I'm still getting compile errors.

    Does Architect 3 support SASS 3.2 and placeholder selectors? I keep getting compile errors when attempting to use them.

    .x-panel-header-default, %panel-title-with-chevron {...

    Nope. I don't even have hidden folders visible by default. I had to make them visible to check whether the .sencha folder was even there (it wasn't).
