  15. Why not communicate with a controller instead of a view?

    Appname.GetApplication().getController('Controllername').doSomething() will probably work, provided you have setup your application...
  16. If you want to JSON encode your data back to the server, the easiest way is to use a standard Ajax request and get the values from the form with: myForm.getForm().getValues() .

    Put a proxy on the model.
  18. Init the plugin with the beforeedit listener and let that listener return false if double clicked, and true when used with your edit button.
