Wow this bug has been present since Ext 2. I have gotten around by pre-loading all my data stores at the start of the application but I would like to get away from that at some point.

I totally agree with you animal, IMO having a free job posting would only get more projects done in ExtJs. Looking at the traffic generated in "jobs" ( # of postings ) I don't think its paying any...
