Why not use Ext.JSON.decode and EXT.JSON.encode? Less chances for abuse there...

So from the example (and function) that I cited:
if (p.x >= bbox.x && p.x <= bbox.x + bbox.width &&
p.y >= bbox.y && p.y <= bbox.y + bbox.height &&

Take a look at the Census 2010 demo from Touch charts beta 2. Specifically the 'selectElement' method (line 48 in ChartView.js).
You'll need to:
1.) Detect a tap event on the drawing's...

No problem there...
"Specificity" seems to identify in a programatic fashion how specific the selector is. A more general selector will have a lower specificity so it can be applied first.

To anyone looking to theme touch-charts while it's still in beta:
So, obviously the build script isn't part of the beta package, but I found a way to hack at this while charts is being developed....

Hi all --
Working on an ST2 app for deployment (via Phone Gap) stretching down to 4.2.1 and am seeing memory exceptions (level 1 and 2) before the UIWebkitView is fully loaded.

Bump on this. Also seeing no clear way to theme charts per the instructions found at http://docs.sencha.com/touch-charts/1-0/#!/guide/touch_charts_styling

@msims84, you mention the appropriate way to add buffers not using MVC. How would you add them *using* the MVC package?

Can I use x-credits to get a patch fix for this? Totally understand it's in Beta...

I've tried: a.) String (which was the example used in the docs), b.) Date object (new Date('6/27/2012')) and c.) function which returns a date object.

Trying out Touch Charts 2 beta with an ST2 application that I'm building and whenever I try to specify a 'fromDate' and/or 'toDate' in an axis, the values are ignored and I'm left with...

@martin -- What did you use to get a static JSON file to be read by iOS? Currently, I'm trying to use an AjaxProxy to get a file that's local to my index.html, but no luck so far... Any ideas? What...
I just ran into this too, but I suspect we're both doing something wrong (not surprising given the sparse documentation for non-command line gurus like myself...)
It looks like this is spitting...
Hey all --
I'm attempting to use the sencha-touch MVC pattern and I'm trying to replace a View instance's toolbar html with that from a template using tpl.overwrite. Here's some code:

Awesome. Thanks for the response. One more question: a big benefit of DataView's events is that I can get access to the Store associated with the DV with an index. Is that possible using event...

Hi All --
I'm developing a dashboard of sorts to work with a cometd interface. Currently have everything running smoothly, however, there's one point of annoyance. Because of the near real-time...

To be clear, fly wouldn't work as it's a templated element... Anyone else have thoughts?
30 Dec 2010 5:22 AM
Or are you referring to the 'fly' method demonstrated here? Please clarify. Thanks so much!

Thanks for your response, but unfortunately, this doesn't answer my question. I am aware of how to bind/delegate a single templated item to an event, but what I'd like to do is have multiple...

Hey all --
I've been digging for a while about this, but maybe I'm looking in the wrong place. Curious to know if there is any way to bind events to items that are rendered with templates. For...
