    Thanks, now it works in the common event handler.

    Unfortunately it doesn't work if I try to handle the errors for a specific form - there is no popup alert (neither "Success" nor "Failure") on...

    The goal is to handle 4xx and 5xx HTTP responses and JSON parsing errors. I can see "POST /nonexistent.php 404 (Not Found)" in console, but there is no appropriate alert popup. What's wrong?
