  1. Hi everyone,

I've got a mobile app that uses 1.1 and works great. Now, I'm wanting to try out 2.0 PR3 but I'm having trouble with the getting started tutorial.

    I keep getting the following...

    Hi all,

I have a FormPanel with a bunch of dynamically created form elements (textfields, checkboxes, etc.). This is working great, and when I call form.getValues() it returns all of the elements....
  3. Would you mind sharing the command you used to generate the CSS? Also, in which directory do you run the command (guessing /resources/sass/)?
  4. Thanks for the information!

Yeah, I know starting with a developer preview is probably not a great tactic, but I'm generally a fairly competent programmer, and I'm eager to get started.

    Anyway,...
  5. This may not be quite the right forum to post this question, but since it's the only one pertaining directly to Ext JS 4, I thought it would be best.

I can't seem to find a "Getting Started...

Just thought I'd post the URL for the new docs:

    http://dev.sencha.com/deploy/ext-4.0-pr1/docs/

They look just the same on my iPhone/iPad, which means that they don't work quite right. You can't...

Well, it seems that they have the "let's build anticipation right before the launch" down pretty well :)

@edspencer must be getting inundated with requests for the developer preview since he asked...

Depending upon the date/time, I might be interested. I live in Abilene, so I would have to make a day trip out of it. But it would certainly be fun :)

Looks like the link to the blog post has been removed. Perhaps they are finalizing it! Or perhaps they removed it so they wouldn't get people's hopes up. I never really know which way to go with...

Indeed, but an interesting read. If you note the date on the post, it was written yesterday. They probably wrote it in advance and are planning on updating the post with the proper links (and...

I haven't heard any news yet, but they are at the Mobile World Congress, so it could go either way. They could have timed the release to coincide with the conference...or they could be so busy with...

Yeah. I've been expecting an announcement about that. They hired the guy who created RaphaelJS to update the library, and I believe they hired someone else specifically to work on the charts. Looks...
  14. Thanks for pointing me to that class. I think I understand it now. Something to the effect of this:

    1. Object is defined to extend Ext.util.Observable
    2. Object subscribes as a listener to the...
  15. Any chance you could go into a bit more detail? Specifically, I'd like to know how the component monitors the store, and in turn, updates the view.

A link to an example, or some API documentation...

That would be awesome! However, I received an e-mail yesterday stating that they are still hoping to release the beta on February 15th, so I'm not going to get overly excited.
  17. Hello,

I'm new to ExtJS but am really excited about what the 4.0 release has to offer. I've been investigating a lot of other frameworks, and I really love the way that Sproutcore and Backbone...
