    this.contextMenu.items.item(0).el.update(text);

    this.contextMenu.items.item(0) is not defined.

    looks like all...

    Hey - in the code on p1 - there seems to be a bug:

    Generate the data rows from the data in the Store
    for (var i = 0, it = this.store.data.items, l = it.length; i < l; i++) {

    Really nice looking plugin. I'm having the following issue

    this.doLoad(0);

    is null or not an object?

    What does this method call reference?

    Firstly - I'd think about using Castle Monorail as ASPX will cause you all kinds of problems.

    That way you get to use controller methods and views to load the data into the panels. It works a...

    I'll take a look at using this method tomorrow :)

  11. Yeah - I would lurve to do it all in one shot as the tree data is formed but there is extra contextual info that goes into getting the quicktip.

    it seems to be fast enough though so we'll see how...
  12. Here is the working code for reference:

    loader: new Ext.tree.TreeLoader({
    id: 'loader' + this.hid,
    dataUrl: this.dataUrl,
    method: 'POST',
    ...
  13. So I should fire off an ajax request to get the tooltip for the node and alter the underlying HTML with the result, inside the load event of the loader for the tree?

    Sounds a bit hectic no?

    I...
  14. That's quite dirty :s but I'm more interested in getting it working right now :)

    Where can I do this work if I can't do it in the append event?

    Your code:

    http://jsbin.com/eyata/edit

    Works fine.

    Use the Ext.panel if it has functionality you need - otherwise using a plain div and attaching a resizeable to it works. It's up to you.

    Sounds to me like you're trying to re-invent the wheel or something.

    You should never need to hook into the underlying divs accessed through autogenerated IDs. Do you have some more code we can...
