  1. I'll take your word for it. I have high hopes for 2.0 as I've been running into some frustrating quirks with 1.x the last few days. You guys do good work, so I'm sure I'll be impressed & pleased....
  2. Any idea when we can get our hands on it (say, for paid support devs)?
  3. What is the status of this bug fix? I notice that in my PhoneGap app I see the same problem, but when the keyboard hides *after* the orientation change, the rendering is off, to say the least. It...
  4. In response to @danderson's override. It works great, and I intend to keep it around until that time if/when Sencha changes the reader to handle these situations better.

I know this reply is coming quite a long time after the original question, but I can answer what's going on.

If you don't set the title of the TabBar item/component, calling...
  6. Generally I would agree, but we do have a case where a store loads a three-level deep model association from one URL, but it's only the deepest model that actually sends any data back to the server....
  7. I've been working on the Sencha Touch end of a project with the API dev team in another country the last few months. As I developed this app, I decided to make as full use of the Data Package as...
  8. I guess this might be the place to do this...

I'm working on the mobile end of a work in progress API and found some rather frustrating aspects of how data is sent to a server. With a "manual"...
  9. There are several threads relating to this issue and a couple possible solutions in some cases. Give the search a try - you may find some satisfactory answers pretty quickly.
  10. I started to dig around the Sencha Touch source and found out that the ServerProxy class is *not* performing an encode, even if my writer encode: parameter is set to true.

    reader: {
    type:...
  11. I'm having a tough time getting this one figured out - already hours of searching with nothing to show for it.

I need to make my model proxy send a JSON object as the request payload in the same...
  12. This thread needs a little bump. I guess I'm looking for more detailed information about using nested models with a single store... or should I use another store for my deepest model that needs the...

I think we're only seeing part of the picture in your post - you have one store and one attached model above. I would either set up a second store or just use an AJAX call to load a specific record...

Generally with the list you take the index of the selected item and simply use store.getAt( index )

Alternatively, if you're trying to retrieve a specific record based on the ID try store.getById(...
  15. Perhaps you could get more help if you asked specific questions. Overall I have reads working fine with associations, but it's updating/saving that I can't seem to master - probably for the same...
  16. I've been searching high and low and haven't really found anything suitable to solve my problem...

The API I'm working with gives me nested data, which I can load just fine: Lesson hasMany Pages...
  17. All I have to say is WOW.

I've been working most of the day on trying to figure out why my data store would come up empty even with properly formatted JSON data coming in. I found this thread,...
  18. Considering that second field is outside the DOM, there's not much we can do about it directly. I had some *luck* with this once by trying some alternative layouts. In my case I switched from putting...
  19. I've submitted a bug report on this issue, as I'm seeing it in my app as well

  20. setting the scroll property on the textarea will produce a broken form element. Conversely, long content does not cause the element to scroll on its own.

  21. Ah. Sounds like the same problem either way. I checked out the Sencha blog post on the Pier 1 mobile site on my HTC Incredible and they're experiencing the same thing with form fields getting taken...
  22. I've had similar problems. I wonder if it has something to do with whether or not the content is rendered in DOM or not.
  23. Hmm... I wonder if that was my problem. It's been a while since I looked into it, but I have another project where I'm going to use it for offline cache.
  24. Sure, it only goes away when the card containing the field goes out of view. One of our apps uses a dual login format to handle legacy accounts (one using a username, id, and password, the other just...
  25. The problem is that Android takes over drawing the form field on focus. I've tried controlling it, but it's completely outside the DOM.
