    This will not work out-of-the-box. You will have to edit it to remove my custom stuff, like getConfig(), 'form', .cls stuff, etc.

    Hope it helps though!

    use Code blocks :)

    Isn't it Ext, not ext?
  3. If the option you want is in the list you can use Select() or SelectByValue()

    otherwise i'm not sure.

    Does it throw an error?
    What's the server response?
    FireBug.
  5. You can't reference a member of an object your are currently creating.

    If you can, do something simple like

    var nodetext = 'abc';

    var root = new Tree.AsyncTreeNode({
    expanded: true,

    If you're using ContentEl, then you know the ID of the cell you want to apply CSS to. Therefore you can simply use standard CSS by ID rules...

    #myContentElId {
    background-color: #0000FF;
    }
    ...

    1.

    var value = comboBox.getRawValue();

    2.
    When a form is rendered, the buttons go at the bottom. Not too difficult. If you want buttons at the top then you have to do it yourself.
  8. I never figured that out in a clean way.

    The problem is that the classes are on the same element, so you can't specify them quite right...

    The way I ended up doing it (if I remember correctly)...

    Yeah, that's what my second suggestion was. Just override the css without changing the library.

    I thought about that too... I just wasn't sure which object to suspend listeners ( i was thinking grid, store, view, etc)... but I figured those would mess with the re-rendering on sort. I didn't...

    Well, the way I see it, you have two options:

    1. Replace the images with new ones. That will change all the icons for everything using that copy of the library.
    2. Create a "theme" with very few...
  12. Take a look at the ComboBox's onTypeAhead function
    (~line 555 in ComboBox.js)

    that's a good place to start. I don't know exactly how it works, but it seems like the right place to learn.

    I'll stick with my original suggestion: save the 'lastRow', compare it to the 'selectedRow', and only display the window if they are different.
    To solve the last problem of: click row A, get window...

    A propertyGrid "dropdown" is simply a combobox.
    Search for posts about changing combobox options, etc.

    Essentially, you'll want something like a "beforeshow" event on the editor (combobox) that...

  17. The API shows the click listener is called with parameters.
    http://extjs.com/deploy/dev/docs/?class=Ext.tree.TreeNode

    The deep expand() is asynchronous. You need to provide a callback (like it says in the...
  19. Yeah, i just saw that I named a variable and a function the same thing. Oops.

    His code looks nice. A bit more complicated, but probably better overall.
  20. Here's the asynctreenode's expand function

  21. 1. You have CSS that says (among other things)

    body {
    text-align: center;
    }

    so you need to fix it in combo boxes:

    Building the menu is the same as any example that has one. If the options of the menu aren't going to change for each row, I'd make a single instance and save it in the grid.

    Why not do it in the setup of the node? You could probably include a config like

    cls: hideMe,

    .hideMe {
    display:none;
    }

    Although you didn't actually ask a question, I'll answer.

    To get you started, try something like

    myGrid.on('contextclick', function(e) {
    // build or get context menu object (you could save...
