I don't believe there's an Accordion Layout for Sencha Touch (this is for mobile). :( Otherwise, yes, that would work.

I'm trying to create a panel with a docked item at the top, a carousel in the middle and a docked panel at the bottom. I can do this and it works fine, but I'd like to be able to have the panel that...
  4. I'm having the same issue. A select box works fine in Chrome but when I load it on my IPhone, Android or Blackberry it does nothing. Doesn't seem to listen for the tap to activate the dropdown.

AFAIK, you can only drag from a grid to a tree right now. Only the drag, and not the drop, has been implemented in the grid so far.

Well it seems when beforeUpdate is called the first time it creates a div and appends it to the innerHTML of the element being updated and it displays the loading screen. The first part of my problem...

Not sure what I'm doing wrong here as it seems like a very simple thing but I can't get the load mask to work with the update manager. Perhaps I'm misunderstanding how it's suppose to work.

  9. I found that most errors in IE also show in Opera, and Opera has a much nicer Javascript console. That may help. Not as powerful as firebug, but more like the standard Javascript console in FF. Still...

    I use Aptana for javascript.

    http://www.aptana.com/

It's free! And is pretty decent at debugging Javascript using it's Firefox plugin.

I believe it's built on top of Eclipse.

I'd like to take an opportunity to show you guys what many think is the best run Open Source project going right now. They only just released v1.0 but have a look at all the "docs" they have :)...
  12. That doesn't make any sense. If the scripts are included in a page being included using the update() function and the update function is appending them to the main page header over and over, how is...
  13. No, infact I don't load any datastores on page load, the slow rending times is just from doing grid.render().

I did find that I could forstal the rendering itself and send the grid variable back...

A fellow symfonian, I'm Draven from the symfony boards ;) And indeed it is a brilliant framework, I use it with Ext as well. If you need any help getting symfony and Ext working let me know.
  15. I have 4 grids in my interface, 2 of which show by default and I'd like to have the other 2 "hidden" grids lazy load when their tabs/regions are activated. I can't see how I can do this though since...

Hey, was just thinking it might be fun to have a widget contest of some sort to help increase the number of useful widgets without putting Jack in the loony bin.

    Thoughts?

    There could be...
  17. Well, it cut down on the number of calls to UpdateRule substantially.
  18. I don't think you can grab it from the datastore.data but rather have to get it from dataStore.data.json which contains all the loaded json data and not just the json from the declared root (in your...
  19. I ran into the same thing today with UpdateRUle running almost 7000ms on a page with 4 grids. In the end I had to completely remove all calls to autoSizeColumns since it was just killing my load...

Hmm, not sure. The whole point of adding the remove('panel', true) is to retain the div while removing only the content panel. This works as intended for me. I'm only starting out with Ext myself so...

I needed to do the same thing. Here's how I managed it.

In my Main layout I have a method called UpdatedCenter. In this method I remove the contentpanel for my center region while still leaving...

I found a way to do this for my app. It may not be the best (right?) solutoion but it works.

Assuming your div ID for your tree is propertyTree

    var n = Ext.get('propertyTree').dom;

  23. As far as I know, and I may be wrong here, but ds.data holds all the current information for the grid including the current changes.
  24. Sigh!

Why is it as soon as you spend the time to make a long post you figure things out yourself?

I have to admit my javascript kungfu is weak. It seems once I changed all my layout calls in...
  25. Well I've tried looking through the source, searching the forums and even stepping through the code but I just can't seem to figure this out.

Basically I have a layout that updates it's center...
