    This thread served the purpose of inquiring the progress of 4.2.2. Now as 4.2.2 has been rolled out, I think further discussions started to be off topic. I understand there are a lot of things we can...

    4.2.2 works without any problem in my project, yet. Thanks for the release.
  3. I suggest that Sencha could accelerate the public release cycles, thus more people will be able to help to find bugs. Now only the paid users are able to access to nightly releases, yet many paid...

    Is there any new ETA? Cannot believe Sencha leaves 4.2.1 as stable for months.

    Thanks for the update and the effort keeping moving forward.
  6. The merge... exception appeared again:

    Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'mergeAttributes' of null

    with ext-4.2.2.1039.
    But unfortunately I was using the minified version of extjs.

    Thanks for the information. I have been testing a nightly building now, and it works quite well. Keep my fingers crossed.

    It has been a long time since 4.2.1 was released. Since 4.2.1 is not usable to me, I have been waiting for 4.2.2 to be out for a long time. I'm wondering if Sencha already has any release plan?...

    I want to suspend change events for all my form fields while the form is loading data. I learned a way from the following URL, and it works well. ...
  11. Why thousandSeparator is not in Ext.form.field.Number just as decimalSeparator is? I have some concern using:

    Ext.util.Format.thousandSeparator = '.';
    Ext.util.Format.decimalSeparator = ',';
    ...
  12. OK, thanks. I removed all 'name' properties in my editors, and they work well now.

    I think it makes sense that 'name' should not be set at all.

    Best regards,
    Elgs
  13. Probably I should say form submitting instead of form submission.

    Well, it's interesting. I don't see any reason that it should end up mapping to something in the model. What benefit it brings...
  14. I understand I don't need to specify the name. However, in my code, all fields are dynamically generated, therefore on the client side, the dataIndex is not human friendly. However, I use human...
  15. So does that mean the name of the editor must be one in the field list. This is not true in build 774. I give all my editors more server-friendly names, however, I give the dataIndex much different...
  16. Sorry for a late reply. I just came back from a 1000km drive.

    After some investigation, I finally reproduced this issue in the row-editing example in ext-4.2.2.1020.

    Here's the thing:
    If I...
  17. Give me some time. I will be running into a meeting soon. Later I will try to minimize my code to reflect this problem.

    Thanks,
    Elgs
  18. When I tried to reproduce this issue, I didn't see any exception. However, I'm pretty sure, I saw an exception thrown out the first or second time I encountered this problem. The exception said...
  19. Number editing in roweditor is broken in ext-4.2.2-20130818-beta.zip / ext-4.2.2.1020.

    If this would be a gotcha for Sencha, that would be great. If it can not be reproduced, let me know, and I'm...
  20. Thanks, that's very good point. Currently I'm not using override. I remember we used override in the SA 1.x era. SA 2.x came with a built-in editor, that made SA becomes a real IDE. However, lacking...
  21. Sorry anyone from Sencha has any chance to take a look at this questions? Thanks.
  22. Anyone from Sencha has any chance to take a look at this questions? Thanks.
  23. Yes, I used to be a happy customer of Sencha, but now I'm not. The 883 release is really crappy.
  24. Thanks for classifying this as a bug. Now any chance to get any update about this bug? Sencha is way toooo slooow. Now I don't mind using a nightly version to replace the crappy 883. (:|
