Cant you use a page paginator to do the job?
Else as long as the view belongs to the controller, the controller will listen to events fired by your window.
A treepanel is a treepanel and is supposed to be a treepanel.
Add another panel above the treepanel which holds your slider.
Remember the query returns an array
take a look it this:
// retrieve all Ext.Panels in the document by xtype var panelsArray = Ext.ComponentQuery.query('panel'); // retrieve all Ext.Panels...
var selectid = myFormPanel.query("#selectId");
instead of Ext.getCmp();

Use the style property.
style: 'background-color: #00000;'
did you define the store in the controller?
stores: [ 'myStore' ]
xtype : 'container',
layout : 'hbox',
I noticed you don't have a root node hanging in your tree. I guess yor problem will be solved when adding a root node into your store or tree. Did it not complain about missing root node?
try the config option in your store
thnx, that did the trick.
i'm not using forms for certain raisins. But i still like occasionally replace a text field with a date picker. The replacement works nice, but only shows "[object object]".
