    I haven't used .NET but when php returns a json reponse, the headers are still text/html. It doesn't really matter what type the response is. Just that it is valid json. Isn't there some function...
  16. a bit of confusion. You have set value to manufacturer. Is that a variable? the value you set should be one of the id field of the store records.
    eg value:23 or value:'GM'

    You may have to observe the data returned from the server for the ajax calls (which i presume you are making) Dunno about IE, but in firefox, with firebug install, you can track it in the console...
  24. Just a thought. Are spaces in id allowed? Maybe that is the problem? Also, are you getting any errors in firebug?
