    no, they are not automatically included. basically you include the adapter in place of ext-base.js, which is explained in the file INCLUDE_ORDER.txt in the Ext download.

    The various adapters are just there to allow Ext to coexist with another ajax framework, due to the various frameworks usually needing to override the same base javascript functions.
