  1. 'this' refers to the view, in this specific case you want 'controller'.

    In 5.0.1 the detection of where listeners are bound has been improved, so you can just do:

    Ext.define('MyWindow', {
    ...
  2. Have you tried this with the latest nightly?
  3. Thanks for the report! I have opened a bug in our bug tracker.

  5. Use the notify method on the viewmodel to force all bindings to flush.

    Our tests involving viewmodels typically follow this pattern (roughly):

    var vm = new Ext.app.ViewModel();
    var spy =...
  6. I'm not able to reproduce this. The files are identical here. I tested using nightly 20140730.
  7. Stores allow you to define bound properties, for example:

    filters: [{
    property: 'foo',
    value: '{foo}'
    }]
  8. As you said, the collection items will only ever be null if the collection has been destroyed. At this point there isn't enough information to go on here. You could put some debugging code inside the...
  9. Ext5 comes with 2 charting packages. sencha-charts is the newer one, very similar to the charting package in Sencha Touch. ext-charts is the legacy charting package from Ext 4.

    Which is why...

  11. This isn't a bug. The association name is supposed to be a unique identifier. By subclassing it, you're implicitly inheriting the association. The solution is to let the association name be...

    It's not returning the date in a particular format, but rather returning the date object.

    Use Ext.Date.format() to convert it to a string representation.
  13. This issue is actually unrelated to the dashboard. It's caused by the same issue here: http://www.sencha.com/forum/showthread.php?284419.

    It's been resolved for 5.0.1 (and in the nightlies too).

    It appears both of these issues are already resolved in the latest nightly and will be fixed in 5.0.1. This is what the code looks like on the latest:

    Ext.create('Ext.Container', {
    ...
  15. This happens because the editor updates the font drop down with whatever is currently selected in the document. In this case, because nothing is typed, the active font is the default.

    Not really...
  16. Seems this is resolved in the latest nightly. Can you confirm?

    The docs you linked are from 4.x. The 5.x docs are here: http://docs.sencha.com/extjs/5.0.0/application_architecture/application_architecture.html

    It's not the same. For example, put a console.log(this) at the start of the run method. Then invoke:

    Ext.TaskQueue.request(false);

    You'll see the difference, if you comment out the bind...
  20. Or just nuke the JSLint portion. It hardly matters whether you have a space between your function name or not. I've never liked the dogmatic approach regarding styles in that tool.

    It gets invoked here:

    Ext.Function.requestAnimationFrame(this.run);
  22. I ran your fiddle in chrome and all of them opened a new tab.
  23. What are you expecting to happen here? The combo box has been bound to the id of the selected model, which is two way. So as you type in the combo box it is modifying the id of the record.

    If you...

  25. If you're doing bulk events on the store, you should do:

    store.suspendEvents();
    // Do stuff
    store.resumeEvents();
    theView.refresh();
