    @edspencer, I'm no longer having that issue. The problem was that I had the layout set to 'form' and as soon as I changed it, everything started working. Not sure why I had the layout set to 'form'

    I used your code and it worked for me with EXT4. The only difference I see is the grid creation.

    function updReceiving() { var selections = receivingGrid.selModel.selected.items;...

    How and when are you calling the updReceiving function? Is it even getting into this function? Is there data in the grid? Do you have multiple grids with same 'id'? May need to see your grid...

    Thanks AmandaK, you got me on the right track.

    var selections = grid.selModel.selected.items;
    var myName= selections[0].data.name;
    var myNumber= selections[1].data.number;

    Boy I wish the Ext4 was backwards compatible. Ext4 has too many nice features not to want to upgrade.

    This code used to work but no longer works in Ext4

  12. My radiogroup no longer fires on check once this override was implemented. Works with the checkbox.
  13. Hi,

    I need to create an onClick event for a checkbox that only fires when the checkbox is clicked via mouse and during load.

    Here is what I have, but it doesn't work. It fires on load.

    var...
  14. It still fires. Here is my code:

    var siteReportCheckbox = new Ext.form.Checkbox(
    {
    width: 75,
    ...
  15. Now another silly question. How do you add a handler to a listen event?

    I assume you mean something like this:

    siteReportCheckbox.on('render', )

    But what's the syntax to add a handler? ...
  16. kind of silly that you would have to do that, don't you think? I'll try your suggestion.
  17. When rendering a checkbox, the handler event fires. It also fires when checkbox is checked or unchcked. The strange thing is that it only fires when it is initially rendered unchecked (that's...
  18. Thanks for Condor.

    store.on('load', function(){
    var record = store.getAt(0);
    formPanel1.getForm().loadRecord(record);
    formPanel2.getForm().loadRecord(record);
    ...
  19. Right now I have to do a load for each formpanel. Since I already have the data, how can I just populate the forms? I don't think formpanel allows store: or ds:. I don't like to do this because...
  20. When I do a form load, all the text fields, combo boxes, etc get updated with data, but the slider stays at 0. Is there something special I need to do? I initialized the data to be numeric for the...
