    Thanks Jamie,

    By the way, I downloaded a fresh copy of the 3.1.0 source and my issue was fixed. I guess you guys must have pushed out a fix.

    Thanks,
    Brian

    Will these be fixed in the standard release? I feel like they are pretty crucial bug fixes. It still doesn't solve my Ext.elCache errors, but crucial non-the-less.

    I have convinced my company to...

    Is it possible to use both a lockinggridview and groupinggridview.

    I am sure I could probably spend some time to extend the lockinggridview to enable grouping, but why invent the wheel if there is...

    @Higor

    I don't see how "prototype windows" is like ExtJs. It looks like it is just a skinnable Ext.Window with some very basic and limited functionality. In no way can that replace even a...

    Thanks Animal!

    I was originally using the form to get the values, but everything was coming back blank. I think moving the layout around like you suggested solved that problem. Is...

    I have a grid which on row select populates the form using formPanel.getForm().setValues(sm.getSelected().data); (this works great).

    The problem is on the "Save" button click. WHere in I am...
  10. Thanks!

    I settled with 'int' for the time being. The values are whole numbers, so I do not see any reason to use 'float' unless you there is something I don't know.

    Thanks,
    Brian
  11. So, I didn't read the documentation thoroughly enough. The "type: numeric" is not a valid type. Is this new in 3.0 or am I going insane?

    I changed the xrefId field to "type:string" and it worked...
  12. I have a grid using a JsonReader and JsonWriter. All of my commands are working just fine (update, destroy, read), but my create functionality is causing issues.

    Yeah, I just copied and pasted from above without thinking. I had changed the scope in my code after your first suggestion. Here is what my code looks like. (I am attaching the listener after the...

    Thanks for the info, that is what I was looking for (you even made it prettier :)). Thanks for the heads up on the possible memory leak, I will run some tests and modify it accordingly.

    I figured it was probably possible.

    listeners: {
    'render': function(tp){
    userTree.items.items[0].getRootNode().expand();

    Thanks Animal,

    I pulled the listener out of the config and added a

    userTree.on('render', function() {
    ...
    }, this);

    everything worked how I expected.

    Thanks for the reply Animal. I provided the scope on the listener, but I am not unable to access adminPanel.store because the variable is not showing up as part of the adminPanel class.

    Hey all,

    I have been playing around with the Desktop sample provided by Ext. I am very new to the ExtJS framework, and am no expert in OO javascript either.

    I am extending the Ext.app.Module...

    This is my first example post since I started using ExtJs less than a month ago. I absolutely love this framework, and can't wait to start contributing more.

    Thanks for the catch, I am still learning the details of the API.

    The grid has stopped 'hanging' when the window opens, but it still doesn't even call my URL.

    Thanks,
